Network Manager Telecom - Editions overview

As the fiber and broadband industry grows increasingly competitive and complex, we understand that there are diverse organizations operating networks within this ecosystem. They differ in the scope of their networks, the number of users, available IT resources, maturity of their processes, and budgets. To support this diversity, we have created three editions of Network Manager Telecom: Insight, Professional, and Enterprise. Flexibility and usability are hallmarks of all IQGeo products, and that will continue to be one of our primary focuses as customers can now choose the edition of Network Manager Telecom that is right for them.

• The Insight edition gives organizations a single, geospatially based, fiber management solution that enables them to document, update, and share their network asset data across the organization at a cost-effective price point. It is intended for organizations who want to accurately document their network now and into the future with a packaged solution based on industry best practices. The Insight edition can be deployed immediately, without the need for an IT team. 

• The Professional edition delivers the same fiber management solution and fast deployment as the Insight edition, but also provides the ability to configure the product, such as creating new network model features and workflow forms. The Professional edition is configurable, without the need for software programming.  

• The Enterprise edition includes everything within Professional, and also enables the extension of APIs to account for the greater number of systems, processes, and user requirements found in large-scale network deployments. The Enterprise edition allows operators to develop customized software to meet advanced workflow and integration requirements

• The Insight edition is designed for fiber networks and is best suited for municipalities, educational and corporate campuses, transit authorities, utilities.
  
  
• The Professional edition is designed for fiber networks and is best suited for operators whose networks are broader in scope and want to build and define digital processes to deploy and manage their networks without code development. Commercial broadband and fiber network operators, DOTs / Intelligent Transportation Systems. 
  
  

• The Enterprise edition is designed for fiber, copper, and HFC networks. This edition is intended for enterprise-scale broadband, MSO, and cable operators who want to extend the solution to support additional innovative workflows that require integration that can only be met with custom software. development, due to the complex and specialized nature of their existing systems and processes.

Yes, this is why we created three editions. If you discover that you need more functionality and new workflows to more effectively manage your network, we have a seamless path to enhance and evolve your deployment. 

Yes, there are add-on capabilities, including an offline mobile app, available for purchase with every edition. For Professional and Enterprise, you may also purchase additional IQGeo Integrated Network applications, extended software support, and extended cloud hosting options.

Yes, you can add users at any time, independent of the Network Manager Telecom edition you’ve chosen.

The new Network Manager Telecom editions are intended for new customers, so nothing will change with your existing IQGeo Network Manager Telecom or OSPInsight subscription. However, in 2024, OSPInsight users will have the option to upgrade to the Insight edition of Network Manager Telecom. At this stage there will also be the opportunity to move to Professional or Enterprise editions if more advanced capabilities are required.

Yes, every edition includes Standard field mobility, which offers online, browser-based field mobility. If you also require offline field mobility, you can purchase the field mobile app with any of the editions.

Field mobility is included in each edition and gives users online, browser-based field mobility. Off-line field mobility is app-based for the organizations who need offline field mobility to support rural geographies or during disaster response when Internet connectivity is not available. The off-line version is available for an additional cost with each edition. 

The Insight and Professional can only be hosted by IQGeo. You may deploy the Enterprise edition on-premise, via private cloud, or via IQGeo-hosted cloud.

Yes, on-premise deployment is available for each edition. You can also move to a cloud-hosted option at any time if your IT requirements change.

No. Each edition includes your choice of private cloud or IQGeo-hosted cloud. If you choose the IQGeo-hosted option, we can offer increased services levels with Bronze, Silver, and Gold upgrades for each edition.
